Checklist and FAQ

Our online booking is always open, and here you can pay with Dankort, credit card, MobilePay, and PayPal. During busy periods, it is always a good idea to book in advance. That way, you are sure to get the exact HAVsuite you want :-)

Remember to add extra persons if there will be more than 2 people. You can also purchase Tapas, Stjerneskud, Smørrebrød, specialty beer, wine, bubbles with snacks, or freshly ground French press coffee.

Dogs are very welcome in our HAVsuites. We have selected apartments where it is allowed to bring 1 dog; this must be agreed upon in advance and costs DKK 300 in cleaning surcharge and DKK 75/day for the following days. The dog must, of course, not be left alone in the HAVsuite or be on the furniture, beds, etc. :-)

The terms and conditions in your forwarded order confirmation are always applicable. Cancellations and modifications to reservations must always be made in writing and within the applicable terms. We refer to our "Terms and Conditions" on our online booking: https://booking.hyggestrandcamping.dk

Arrival at the HAVsuite holiday home de Lux is from 15:00 - You have the option to purchase "early arrival" from 14:00; this must be done prior to arrival.

Done via self-service upon arrival (separate information will be sent out via email and SMS).

There is free public parking in front of the HAVsuites and the campsite.

All facilities at Hygge Strand Camping are free to use during your stay. Use of the laundromat is subject to a fee. Please see the notices in the laundromat.

We have two 22 kWh charging stations in the driveway to the campsite. These can be used via Monta's charging network for a fee.

A stay in a HAVsuite includes 2 persons. If you have guests during the day, they must purchase a guest pass at the Reception. Overnight guests must also be registered.

2.5 km on foot or by bike along the beach to Hou, there are shopping opportunities (Dagli'Brugsen, Fish Café). Alternatively, there are plenty of options in Odder (approx. 8 km). You will find the bakery in Saksild (5 km).

Each HAVsuite has its own WiFi, and the password is in the frame by the front door.

Various forms of catering can be purchased, including a breakfast basket (warm organic bread rolls, Danish pastries, eggs, Nutella, jam, butter, sliced cheese, cream cheese, organic yogurt, and juice), dinner, as well as various drinks and snacks. In the HAVsuite, you will find a small "capsule coffee machine" with capsules, milk, sugar, and tea. We have also ensured there is a regular coffee maker, electric kettle, and a French press. So remember to bring your own favorite coffee or tea. You can also buy delicious freshly ground French press coffee from the minibar. If you have ordered extra catering, it will always be ready in the HAVsuite upon arrival.

Hosting "parties" or similar events, as well as outdoor music and indecent behavior, are not accepted. Smoking is not allowed indoors.

If you need a vacuum cleaner or cleaning supplies during your stay, these can be picked up at the Reception. For stays of more than 5 days, we will come to vacuum and change towels, by arrangement of course.

PLEASE READ the provided instructions before using the spa. The spa is serviced daily between 10:00 and 12:30 by our Service Team. Using the spa while intoxicated is not allowed. The spa is normally ready for use upon arrival, but no later than 17:30.

Outside Reception opening hours, we can always be reached in case of an emergency at Tel.: +45 8844 8383. If you need a doctor, you can call the Medical Clinic in Odder at tel: +45 8654 0011 (between 08:00 - 16:00). The on-call doctor can be reached at tel: +45 7011 3131 (16:00 - 08:00). Police and fire department can be called at 112.

Complaints must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of arrival. Complaints submitted after 24 hours are not accepted and cannot be subject to claims for compensation, price reduction, or refund of the rent or parts thereof.

The tenant is fully responsible and liable for the rented property and its inventory. Any damages must be reported immediately to the landlord for settlement and repair. Inventory must not be moved to other apartments or elsewhere.

See opening hours at the Reception. Closed for lunch every day from 10:00 - 14:00.

Departure is before 10:00 - You have the option to purchase "late departure" until 11:00; this must be done prior to arrival.

General tidying up, dishwashing, and emptying the trash are not included in the final cleaning. Final cleaning and utility consumption are always included in your stay.

The key should be left on the kitchen counter in the apartment upon departure.
